Backyard_SOCIALsaville.jpgNewlywed (congratulations!) Hello! Washington, D.C. Senior Account Executive Susan Saville shares her hometown favorites:

My definition of One Perfect Day in my hometown is:  Sleeping in, followed by a late breakfast at Buffalo Bergen in Union Market, a hike through Rock Creek Park or run in Great Falls on a 60 degree fall day just when the leaves are at their peak… Obviously capped off with a good beer or glass of wine.

I chose to make  D.C.. my home because: I’ve lived here my whole life, I couldn’t call anywhere else home. (except maybe Denver…. )

I’m passionate about: the diversity in my hometown, whether you’re into food, music, museums or the outdoors, there’s something for everyone here.

People would be surprised to know: how much outdoorsy fun is at your fingertips both inside the city and just outside the city.  Your never far from a great hike, a good bike ride, a beach, a mountain, or lazy tubing down the river and so much more.

In my opinion, Maryland Blue Crabs with all the Old Bay spice is the signature food item that visitors must sample in my hometown.
