Washington, D.C. is a unique mix of being a working federal city, an international metropolis, a picturesque tourist destination, a treasury of history, and a cosmopolitan playground with a neighborly small-town ambience.
D.C. is business in the front, party in the back! Packed with incredible venues and amazing restaurants, there are a ton of creative activities to keep your guests entertained. Several of the nation’s most treasured museums await—whether it’s to dig for dinosaur bones at the National History Museum, or raise your eyes toward the sky at the National Air & Space Museum. You can Segway your way around the National Mall, indulge in authentically American cuisine, and try some pretty unique concoctions at local cocktail bars.
Beyond the Hill, nestled on the picturesque Chesapeake Bay, Annapolis is home to the United States Naval Academy and rich in maritime history. Baltimore certainly lives up to its reputation as the historical gem of the Mid-Atlantic region with its thriving business district, urban waterfront park, famous museums, vibrant Inner Harbor, and world-famous crabs.
